WORSHIP SERVICE SCHEDULE September and October Worship services held Sundays at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM September 5th - Message: "Working For God" - Ministry of Music by Sherry Baughman and Crystal Leathery September 12th - Message: "Back To Basics" - Ministry of Music: Solid Rock Men's Chorus 7:00 PM - Evening Service September 19th - Youth Sunday. Speaker: Mr. David Wennerholt. Our youth and children will be leading the worship services. Ministry of Music: Wayne Snelbaker Family 7:00 PM - Youth Groups Kick-Off Night with "Potter's Clay" September 26th - Rally Day No 8:00 AM service or Sunday School. 9:00 AM - Coffee and donuts in all purpose room. Service begins promptly at 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Speaker is Rev. Brian Desautels. Ministry of Music: Ann Senft and Kristen Zirkle. 7:00 PM - "Know Your Enemy" Evening Worship Service Sermon Series - "The Invisible War" (preparing for and engaging in spiritual warfare) October 3rd - Worldwide Communion Sunday - Message "Remember Me!" Ministry of Music by our Senior Choir. 7:00 PM - "The Enemy's Tactics" October 10th Harvest Home Sunday - Missions Speakers: Dan and Melinda Moury. Ministry of Music: Donna Barley 7:00 PM - "The Believer's Armor" (Part 1) October 17th - "American Idols" (Part 1) Ministry of Music by the Solid Rock Men's Chorus. 7:00 PM - "The Believer's Armor (Part 2) October 24th - "American Idols" (Part 2) Ministry of Music by our Golden Angels. 7:00 PM - "The Believer's Weapons" October 31st - "Wise Choices" Our Youth and Children will be leading the worship services. 7:00 PM - "The Twilight Phenomenon" A Biblical perspective on the Twilight Series. LOOKING AHEAD! November 7th - Thankoffering Sunday with missions speaker, Rev. Ken Sears November 28th - 1st Sunday of Advent December 12 - Christmas Concert by Sam Keeney and Don Yost (6:00 PM ) **** St. David's has two worship services each Sunday morning. 8 AM - Early service is a traditional service which includes singing of hymns, special music, preaching of the Word, prayer, and opportunities for participation. 10:30 AM - The later service includes similar experiences as the early service with the addition of praise singing and areas more focused on younger families. Separate services and programs are held for children for first through fifth grade. Ages 2-3 have their Jr. Church Program in Room #3 on the lower level. You may drop your child off before the service. Jr. Church for 4-5 year olds is held in Room #5 on the lower level. Your child will be dismissed during the service. Kids Worship Hour for Grades 1-5 is held in Room M. Your child will be dismissed during the service. Staffed nursery facilities are available during both services on the lower level in Room #2. A Mother's room is located at the back of the sanctuary and is available for your use during the worship service. Volunteer opportunities include serving as greeters, ushers, nursery volunteers, and prayer support. Volunteers Needed If you have received your background childcare clearance and would like to volunteer in the nursery, Erica Baldwin is scheduling infant nursery workers for 2010.
